I watch a lot of marketers, and what ever business you might be in you should be studying others that are experiencing good results because success leaves clues. Study other marketers, most of them are nice enough to sell you some of their techniques, but really watch what they do as they are selling you those techniques. It’s not mysterious at all, and it’s much more than just a numbers game.

The key word in this section’s title is “automatically”, and if you’re new this might not be something that you have really considered. You may have heard the phrase “the money’s in the backend” or “continuity” is the way to go, but let’s really look at what we’re building here. Just think before the Internet existed the life of one of your special reports would be a couple of days, and at that, the likelihood of someone mailing your special report to a friend was slim to none. Now, your special reports live forever. Think of every piece of content you create as an employee that works for you 24/7, never gets sick, has a bad attitude or arrives late. And yes, they live forever bringing you business as long as you want to stay in business.

Doesn’t that concept make you want to pay to have someone create 400 mini articles (employees) for you? Doesn’t that content make you want to make sure your content gets to as many places as possible using tools like TrafficGeyser, success leaves clues. A commercial on television runs for a couple of seconds and may or may not reach your (Tivo equipped) audience. A video on the Internet runs whenever an interested person plays it. Aha, you reached them. You have their undivided attention and they were looking for you.

Decision time. You know that you want to make money through using social media. But you have to decide do you want to promote your own brand or another’s. If you are more inclined to promote other’s brands then you should find an affiliate offer that makes you want to wet your pants with excitement. I would recommend a particular company, but it is best for you to research and find one. Resource links will be provided at the end of this chapter.

A lot of success depends on being in the right place at the right time and taking the right actions. There are a few websites at the moment that the search engines love, and so if you want you employees “pieces of content” to be working anywhere, then it should be in these places. The places that are most social are the ones that the search engines seem to love, because the search engines are providing the service of returning the best results. That is why social bookmarking websites are so dangerous. And it’s also why putting your great content in multiple places is great.

Okay, here are a few websites that will get your content noticed in the search engine in order or “current” importance.

Youtube.com

Hubpages.com

Scribd.com

Squidoo.com

Slideshare.com

Wetpaint.com

Flickr.com

Photobucket.com

Dailymotion.com

Viddler.com

Quizilla.com

Swik.net (It’s a search engine in itself)

Mylot.com

Here’s another thing to think about, third party reviews that are framed around the concept that you tried something out and it worked for you or it was worth the money sell better than self promoting. So here’s a cool trick that I learned. If you want to promote an affiliate offer effectively at any of these websites use the “inside the belly of the beast technique”. Basically shoot a video talking about your results beginning with your fears and reservations. Using screen capture software for digital products is golden. Everyone wants to see what they are getting.

Now, Squidoo did suffer a hit in the search engine rankings because it was being spammed a lot. The founder Seth Godin, recently explained that the website is regaining its authoritative status with the search engines because they have eliminated the spamming. If you release articles a part of your marketing strategy Ezinearticles is a great spot to put them, but it is not integrated with the SOCIAL capabilities that Squidoo has and that its developers continue to improve.

You make money with these automatically because they get ranked within a couple of hours. No more manually submitting your website, no more setting up search engine pinging services, and no more trouble with being found. Because these sites are social, people (the people you want to find you) hang out on them.

-Social Media Domination Team

I’ll give you the slow method and a quicker method because both work and one…isn’t quite free. The first thing that you need to know is that your business will not take off and grow without you growing too! What you put into yourself will come out in your work as you brand yourself and that is what people will be buying, more than a product or service. They will be buying how you sell, how your message comes across, and how they feel about you.

So I know that you’re wondering what social networks you must absolutely be on today. If you are a business owner, you need to be on Youtube, Linkedin, Twitter, Wordpress or Typepad (paid), Myspace, and Facebook. If you are simply an individual wanting to become famous or known, you need to be on the websites that you are most comfortable with, but get started with Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Hi5, Orkut, and Blogger.

Now let’s talk about what you will be doing on these websites, why, and how to automate this process of branding yourself. First decide whether you will be using your name or a nickname for your profiles on each of the websites. I recommend using your name with a slight variation so that people will trust you. I mean, would you trust newfrankenstein66 or ashleywatts? Most people are aware that it is easier to manipulate your image through digital media than it is in person, so you want to use every opportunity you get to put your best foot forward.

After you have set up your profiles complete with links back to your blog you need to start your search for people that are interested in keywords related to your niche. There are a variety of services that help you automated the process of finding and adding friends. A few of them are listed in later sections of the book, but do not focus on which tool is newest or which tool is better (by other’s standards) pick one that will work for you and use it. A word of wisdom, you don’t want to just be adding friends without building relationships…consider how you can start meaningful dialogues with your audience about topics they care about (within your niche).

Quick Newbie Moment… What is a niche? A niche is a certain segment of the population where you intend to concentrate your efforts. For example. You have decided, for whatever reason, that you want to sell health related products. You've done your research and have discovered that a good number of the people in this world are sick in some way. So selling health related products would be a general niche. That should clear things up for you.

People will find you and add you as a friend as they start to see your content everywhere. They have to you as the source of the solution to their problem, source of news about the things they love or source of entertainment (edutainment is best). If you have a product that solves a problem bring more to the table than just the product, talk about into the struggle that existed before your product was created. Educate your prospects and remind your prospects about how your product will make their lives easier.

Here’s a good point too on building a better mouse trap. If you give out a free series of trainings on how to make a quilt step-by-step by hand, as well as tips on where to get the best quilting supplies, you would have no problem selling a product like a quilting machine to those quilting enthusiasts that you just educated on the older and slower way of doing things.

So your branding yourself through your content creation and posting it regularly on your 5-6 social networks, how time consuming to post your updates all day. You want to have a life away from the computer. Well besides employing your I-phone or Blackberry in order to escape the office, you need to employ tools like Ping.fm so that you can send status updates to all your websites at once, and tools like TrafficGeyser (best) or Tubemogul (good).

Did I mention your blog? Your blog needs to contain your brainiest work. That means everything that you post needs to be spectacular. Good content is everywhere. There are millions of blogs out there and although you might be the only blogger skilled in social media marketing in your niche, your prospect will not stand for boring stuff! It’s good to ask your readers to share the post they just read in addition to asking them questions about the content you have just provided, but how about making it spectacular and telling them a desired result that they will get when they share it. People buy for emotional reasons and you are selling them on sharing your content.

And yes, you can write all your blog entries on Sunday evening and have them automatically posted at set times with services like Postlater (paid). You also have the option with Wordpress blogs of scheduling when you would like your content posted. If you are using another service that does not have this option: write out your posts one day, save the drafts and then spend a couple of minutes in morning sending out your posts.

Another thing with blogging, you want to be guilty by association. Search for bloggers within your niche on Technorati and connect with them. If your are selling a product, look for bloggers that talk about products like yours and give an article or two about your product to make your life easier. You will also commonly see marketers sending popular bloggers their products to get them to talk about them; this is not a bad technique…just be prepared to send out a lot of product in order to get the desired results.

Here’s another cool thing to do with your blog. People love to have the latest news about something, and for some reason there is a thrill around “re-tweeting” (reposting another person’s update on your Twitter page). Wordpress allows for you to add a retweet plugin to your blog. So when you have a compiled a number of your posts, polished them up and made a special report out of them or created some other virtual product. Send a thank you email to all those that have commented on your blog along with your new virtual product attached. Then encourage them to share your product, tweet about it, and of course provide them with the tools to do so. Your goal is to always generate buzz around your content, so always make it overly entertaining, a little unconventional or out right controversial, and/or interactive.

You can also instantly brand yourself by association. If you know there are well known people within your niche that your prospects will know or even just well known people. Give them some free stuff to review and ask them for feedback explaining that you value their opinion. Like with submitting articles to bloggers this process might take some time, but the results are instant if you have someone like Lance Armstrong mention you or your product. Then use their comments on your sales page, in the intro of your book, on your blog etc.

It’s also a good thing to keep in mind, they’re talking about you. Yes, they. Who are they? You don’t know. Maybe fans, maybe competitors, and maybe haters. Don’t be shy, do a search for your name on Twitter and you will find that when you release spectacular content or when you create an interesting blog post people talk about it. Spammers and scammers are ratted out, and mediocre content producers don’t get talked about that much unless they really under-deliver.

Another simple technique that you can use is collaboration. Collaborate with someone with a big list of subscribers, sphere of influence, or authority in your marketplace. Team up with them to make a product that you know their subscribers will love. You see this going on a lot in the Internet Marketing guru world, the new kid on the block hooks up with some key players (super affiliates in most cases) and splits profits with them in return for a little promoting. Now, you’re not just mentioned you’re recommended by well known person.

You may have several web profiles that describe your product and services as the best in the industry, but it doesn’t mean anything in a world when marketers outsource their testimonial writing to freelancers. It doesn’t mean much at all when marketers pose with other peoples stuff and borrowed cash. Most of your prospects are not stupid, selling with hype brands you poorly. Video testimonials and the word-of-mouse spreading around about you matter. The bottom line is you are who they say you are.

FOCUS To gain expert status in the eyes of your prospects in the shortest amount of time.

ACTION STEPS

1) Depending on your purpose set up your platform for promoting your brand.

2) Begin interacting and releasing content on your networks.

3) Decide on your strategic position: solution provider, news provider, entertainment provider, or edutainment provider.

4) Employ Ping.fm and TrafficGeyer or TubeMogul to leverage the power of technology and save time.

5) Connect with other bloggers in the blogosphere.

6) Pimp out your blog with all the latest social media sharing plug ins, especially “Tweet This”.

7) Collaborate with authority figures on projects that would interest both your lists.

8) Make it easy for your customers to give you testimonials and keep providing good content.

The video "below" will show a brief Twitter Training, Twitter resources, unfollowing abandoned accounts, tools to target your areas of interest, and more.

I believe it's a good idea to target your marketing early on, and also to be careful who you unfollow. One of the problems we as marketers face in the social networks is that we never know who is really paying attention to us. I get calls from people all the time who have said they have been watching and following me online for months.

Had I unfollowed these people, who I don't always know are paying attention to what I'm doing, chances are they would wonder why I turned away from them and lose not only their interest, but any possible interest in their center of influences as well.

We all have "networks" in every aspect of our lives. Allot of the time we meet people we don't know via people we already know. But we don't always know right away everything about that person. It may be years after we have met someone when they can directly and in a positive way influence our life, in a very simple small way. or a huge way.

In my view, there is a whole interior psychology one can take a look at in not only Twitter, but many of the social sites. However, it appears to apply more so to Twitter than anywhere else. So while the debate rages on, my personal advice would be just to be mindful of other people and how you would treat them face to face in a personal gathering. The key is to be polite, friendly, and give value.

In my last post I have a video showing a few tools that can be used to increase followers on Twitter. I didn't really go into the tools so much because they already either have "how to videos" of their own, or text explaining them.

There are tons of tools out there that will help you get more targeted followers, but I wanted to share a couple of things I learned that seems to work. I've been spending time (perhaps too much time) testing and finding out the psychology of Twitter.

I found a great resource from @emailcopywriter
who looks at Twitter the way I do, in a human behavior and psychological point of view. Study some of the articles at his blog and you can get a peek inside the minds of Twitter users and start attracting them to you.

One aspect of Attraction Marketing (there are many) is too attract a specific audience and talk about what it is they like to hear about. It goes way beyond "make money", "coach", "mentor", etc. People now see those terms everyday all day long. It's sort of like looking out at a field of snow-it all looks the same.

I think a big mistake that allot of people make or have made (including myself) is to try and be all things to everyone. It's not possible. We all are unique in our own way, and sometimes people who click with you may not click with me, and vice versa. Let people know who you are, what your likes are, what is important to you, what you can do for them, etc.

A quick couple of tips I learned

If your Twitter profile shows you are following the maximum of 2,000 people, you will have trouble getting more followers. The reason is, in a way, psychological. When a visitor sees you're following 2,000 people, they may think to themselves "Why should I follow them, they can't follow me back because they are at their limit".

By watching the video in my previous post, you can see how to go to the last page on your "following list" and see who isn't following you back, who has abandoned their profile, who might be way out in left field and someone you really don't want to follow, etc. Work your way backwards through those pages and start to remove people until you are below 1,900. This will show new visitors that you are not at your limit and have the ability to follow them back.

Another way to increase followers, is to open conversation with people. Use Tweetdeck or something similar. Try to converse with a few new like minded people everyday by responding to their feed using @ and not DM. This will get you more exposure and show people you are active. It will also reveal your interests and a little bit about your personality.

Use a service (I know, I know, I said I would never use one) that sends out an auto DM to your new followers. Be careful to craft a decent message that stands out from the crowd. Don't create a DM that looks like every other marketer's DM with a link to an e-book, capture page, or more tips. If they want to see your tips, they will do so because they are interested in you and follow your link in your Bio.

For instance, my auto-DM message says something like "Charles Graham here extending to you my hand in an electronic handshake. I'm from the Twin City area in MN. Pleasure to meet you"

In this DM, there are no links, I'm not pushing an e-book, capture page, or sales pitch. I'm just saying "hello". Trust me, I get DM's back all day long from people who read that message and love to reveal a little more about themselves. It makes it personal, even though I'm using an auto DM, because I crafted a personal message, and not a sales pitch. Try it out, you will be surprised. Remember to change it once in a while.

Another tip: As cheesy as it may sound, people LOVE inspirational quotes. If they are good, and unique, they will RT them, giving you more exposure. You can get a book of quotes and then enter them into Twitter but make sure to give the original author credit. Sometimes I create my own and get allot of ideas just by reading quotes, then forming my own.

You can also find inspirational quotes online, but then you also run the risk of everyone else using the same quotes. Choose quotes that are buried in searches and that have tons of pages of them. Don't use the quotes on the first few pages, dig in. Add your own spin to it, make it unique.

Finally, FollowFriday is a way to increase followers as well. Remember, Friday starts Thursday night in many parts of the World. It moves fast and can be dizzying. I won't give an opinion as of yet on this as I've only participated FollowFriday once at the time of this writing. Almost everyone thanked me for recommending them for FollowFriday, but one person was a little upset and told me he wants to get to know the 400 followers he has before he adds 20,000 more.

Just be aware that while most people in marketing circles understand more numbers are better, not everyone thinks that way and to just be respectful of that. That is a whole debate that needs to be left for another day.

Twitter is growing like crazy and I don't know where it will go, but because of it's simplicity I think it will continue to grow in a massive way for a long time. It's a fantastic "personal branding" tool when properly used. For new people, Twitter may look like one of the corniest things they've seen online. Corny or not, people love it and just like anything else online, the only way to get a grasp of it is to use it via trial and error, along with some training thrown in.

"Learn everything from which internet money making opportunities to join, to making yourself an instant success in that business making a multiple 5-6 figure income a month."

Building an income by "Making Money on the Internet from Home" can be really difficult when you first get started. There are so many great opportunities out there, that you may join one and have a tendency to jump from program to program, not really making any money. With so many opportunities on the internet comes great learning necessities. There is so much to learn, but so little time to do it. With this economy failure many of us don't have the money or the time to spend online searching for a way of making money to replace our income. But don't let that scare you!

Here's a few tips and strategies that will help you out along your journey:

Join an Opportunity

* After researching a few money making programs online, join the business you like the most!

How to Know a Good Opportunity When You See One

Do your "do - diligence", do a bit of research on the business and find out what others are saying about it. If you find that there are very minimal complaints about it, then you've found yourself a winner! (Click Here for a just released program that we Recommend)

What to do once you've joined

Now this is very key! Once you've joined you've got to be able to know how to drive traffic to your website and build a downline. I'm going to share with you how I built downlines with thousands of people in only a matter of weeks!

....I don't even share this with many of my followers online.

=> You contact industry leaders and top earners and actually sponsor them into your downline! <=

Now your probably thinking, "Okay Christian, that's a great idea and all, but how do I do that?"

Easy! And I'll tell you where to find them.

Where to find Top Earners

* Youtube

* Google

* Ezine articles

* Business Magazines

I recommend doing searches on Google out of them all.

What to Search for?

* Search other internet/network marketing systems and find their top earners on their websites and also on Google talking about the program.

* Then search for each of their names that you find and collect their contact info you find on the Google pages.

* You can also do the same thing on Youtube, search for the programs and find top earners doing video. Then capture their contact info that they sometimes leave in the description section of their video.

If you sponsor a top industry earner (just one), you'll end up with a downline of over 400 people before you know it!

How to Sponsor Top Earners - What to Say

This is probably the most frequently asked question I get from leads, students, and downline members. Its much simpler than you may think actually. These people aren't celebrities. Sure, some of them think they are hot heads, but that's rare. You will be pleasantly surprised to find out that most top earners are very kind, like-minded people who listen to what you have to say.

This is how a basic phone call to them could look like: (NO SCRIPTS)

You: "Hey Jay (Top Earner), My name is Christian Fioravanti.

Jay: "Oh Hey Christian"

You: "I've been following some of your work and content videos that you send out to your lists, and I want to thank you for sharing so much great content with us marketers!"

Jay: "Sure Christian, that's what I'm here for"

You: "Listen, I just got the chance to be apart of something great and I'd love to share it with you. (Don't Get Into Pitching Them) I just found an amazing opportunity that hasn't even launched yet, and their looking for top earners to become long lasting success stories for the company. I'm just making you aware of this, but they are looking to make top marketers like you the face of the company!"

Jay: "Oh really? I love being on top of the latest businesses, and I haven't heard much about this one yet, please I'm interested, let me know more."

Note: Its a duty for a top earner to know the latest business launches, they need to be on top of those for their massive following so they can instruct them to jump on board or wait for the next one. So he'll be interested.

You: "Yes, I heard about this the other day from a friend, and I just couldn't pass it up. Anyways, I'm just here to make you aware of this opportunity and thank you again for the great content and training you always provide. Have a great day!"

What Happens Next

You contact more top earners on your list that you gathered, and if he's going to sign up, he'll get back to you and let you know he's coming in under you!

That's one of the quickest ways to come into this industry and become an instant success!

Now take action and use the valuable information that has just been shared!
